2015 National Nuclear Physics Summer School

LLNL was honored to co-host the 2015 National Nuclear Physics Summer School.

During the ten-day event, 18 presenters from national labs and academia shared their expertise with nuclear physics graduate students and postdocs. They explored a broad range of topics, including nuclear reactions, nuclear astrophysics, nuclear medicine, nuclear security, nuclear and hadronic structure, heavy ions, fundamental symmetries, lattice QCD, and computational nuclear physics.

The annual summer school events are administered by the Institute for Nuclear Theory. Other co-hosts for the 2015 event included the University of California, Davis, and the Nuclear Science and Security Consortium (NSSC) led by UC Berkeley.
